The island is only 37 square miles and has one of the largest lagoons in the Caribbean, so that is essentially everywhere. On the Dutch side, look in Philipsburg and Simpson Bay (both inside and outside the lagoon). On the French side check out Oyster Pond, Orient Beach, Anse Marcel, and Marigot (especially the Marina). Some boats take anyone who calls on regularly-scheduled scuba/swim trips to nearby islands and some take small groups wherever they want to go. There are also party boats and sunset sails (see our photo above) going nowhere. The charter agents can get you a boat with or without a captain for a day or longer. We'll take you out to the rock and our divemaster take you on a tour of underwater discovery.
